Mr. Mitchell received his J.D. from the University of Southern California where he was a member of Order of the Coif and the editorial board of the Southern California Law Review. He received an M.B.A. from the University of California at Los Angeles and a B.A. from the University of Utah. He practiced in California before moving to Georgia, and is admitted in both California and Georgia.

Mr. Mitchell spent much of his career as a partner in a prominent national law firm, where, in addition to conducting his law practice, he held several firm management posts. He recently was senior counsel to one of the largest firms in the southeast. Mr. Mitchell continues to coordinate and try complex litigation matters.
